Buddhagaya Bana Vihara, a place for finding peace, happiness and meaning in life. It plays a major role particularly to serve the thousands of pilgrims', who visit Bodh Gaya from all over the world by helping them to perform their spiritual activities during the pilgrimage visit. The Pilgrims' Center is open to all and round the year who wish to come and stay at our humble center. 

 

We welcome you to join our Dhamma activities. Today, the Buddhagaya Center is extending the following basic facilities for pilgrims:

1. A pilgrim center;

2. Prayer room for pilgrims and visitors;

3. Guiding the Pilgrims in Spiritual activities;

4. Temporary Monk Ordinations;

 

Our Future Plans:​

1. To build Main Temple;

2. To build Monastic Training Center;

3. To build Meditation Center;

We need your help, support and co-operation of all pilgrims/tourists to maintain Buddhagaya Bana Vihara and Meditation Center’s sanctity and religious fervour including maintaining cleanliness within its entire complex. The Buddhagaya Bana Vihara Management Committee requests the devotees / pilgrims and visitors to donate generously for the upkeep, maintenance and development of the Buddhagaya Bana Vihara and Meditation Center.

 

The Pilgrims may discuss with the Abbot of the Vihara and Bhikkhu Sangha at the center for any spiritual activities. In short, the bhikkhus of the Vihara will be your Kalyana mitras/spiritual guides whenever you need their advice/guidance. It is a great act of merit to associate with a monastery and learn Dhamma and contribute for the progress and preservation of the Buddha Dhamma.
