The Kathina Robe Offering 2025 was joyfully conducted by the Dhammakaya Foundation at various centres of the International Sadhananandapala Banavihara Foundation (ISBF) across Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, and Bodh Gaya. This auspicious offering was made on behalf of Luang Phor Dhammajayo, whose compassion, wisdom, and lifelong dedication continue to inspire the practice and preservation of the Buddha-Dhamma around the world.
Kathina is one of the most significant traditions in Theravāda Buddhism, marking the conclusion of the monastic rainy retreat (Vassa). Through the offering of robes and requisites to the Saṅgha, lay supporters cultivate generosity (dāna), gratitude, and shared merit, strengthening the sacred bond between the monastic and lay communities. The Kathina offerings at the ISBF centres were carried out with deep devotion, harmony, and reverence, reflecting the spirit of unity across regions.
We offer our heartfelt appreciation to the Dhammakaya Foundation for their continued support and compassionate collaboration. May Luang Phor Dhammajayo be blessed with good health, inner peace, and long life. Sādhu! Sādhu! Sādhu! 🙏
May the merits of this noble and auspicious occasion bring peace, happiness, and spiritual progress to all beings, and may the light of the Buddha-Dhamma continue to flourish for the welfare of the world.
