At the kind invitation of Most Venerable Thích Trúc Thái Minh, Abbot of Ba Vang Pagoda, the International Sadhananandapala Banavihara Foundation (ISBF) Delegation, led by Most Venerable Nandapala Mahāthera, had the great honour of visiting Vietnam to attend the grand celebration of the 765th Birth Anniversary of King Trần Nhân Tông—a revered Buddhist king and a profound spiritual figure in Vietnamese Buddhist history.
The celebration was held with dignity and grace, reflecting deep spiritual devotion, unity, and reverence. It stood as a living expression of the enduring legacy of King Trần Nhân Tông, whose life and teachings continue to inspire wisdom, renunciation, and compassion within the Buddhist world.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to the resident monks of Ba Vang Pagoda, as well as to the management committee, devoted volunteers, dedicated staff, and Vietnamese devotees. Your tireless service, warm hospitality, and sincere care for the ISBF Delegation and the International Bhikkhu Saṅgha during our stay in Quảng Ninh Province touched our hearts deeply.
A special note of appreciation is extended to Upasika Lê Nhung in Hanoi, whose thoughtful care and wholehearted support ensured a comfortable and well-coordinated stay. Her kindness and dedication exemplify the spirit of generosity and friendship.
We are deeply thankful for the warm invitation and heartfelt welcome extended to the ISBF Delegation. May the bonds of friendship between India and Vietnam, grounded in shared devotion to the Dhamma, continue to grow. May our collective efforts contribute to harmony, understanding, and the welfare of all sentient beings.
