HH Most Venerable Nandapala Mahathera arrives in Bodh Gaya

His Holiness Most Venerable Nandapala Mahathera, the Supreme Patriarch of Int'l Sadhananandapala Banavihara Foundation on Saturday, 29th July 2023 arrived at Bodh Gaya, the Land of Enlightenment for the Vassavasa 2023.

He was accorded a warm welcome the Gaya International Airport by Bhikkhu Sangha led by Ven. Jinananda Bhikkhu, Secretary General of Int'l Sadhananandapala Banavihara Foundation .

This year will be a historic day for Buddhagaya Bana Vihara, Bodh Gaya, as it will play host to His Holiness Most Venerable Nandapala Mahathera and 43 of his disciples from Arunachal Pradesh, Bangladesh & Tripura for the Rains Retreat (Vassavasa) 2023. He was accorded a warm welcome at Buddhagaya Bana Vihara by the Bhikkhu Sangha led by Ven. Brahma Jhan Mahathera, the Abbot of Buddhagaya Bana Vihara.
